MONROE TOWNSHIP--Industrial/Commercial Real Estate Women, Inc. (ICREW NJ) will host its Ninth Annual ICREW NJ Golf Classic and Reception on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.
This year’s proceeds will benefit NJ Sharing Network, a non-profit organization responsible for the recovery of donated organs and tissue for the 4,500 New Jersey residents currently awaiting a life-saving transplant.
The popular event features a scramble format, where golfers play 9 or 18 holes, or participate in a three-part clinic for beginners. Attendees will also enjoy a buffet lunch, dinner reception and awards ceremony, as well as a silent auction and draw prizes.
Since it was founded in 1987, NJ Sharing Network has been committed to working with its hospital, community, volunteer and professional partners to increase the number of lives saved each year. In addition, the organization actively pursues advocates to assist in youth education initiatives and supports the families of donors.
At last year’s event, approximately 100 golfers of all skill levels enjoyed a day on the links, with opportunities to network and the chance to win great raffle prizes. The popular fundraiser collected $13,500 for Play for P.I.N.K, a non-profit organization that advocates for prevention, immediate diagnosis, new technology, and knowledge in the battle against breast cancer.
Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2010 event.
