NORTH PLAINFIELD--Jerry Nelson has been promoted to General Counsel of Levin Management Corporation, announced Matthew Harding, president and chief operating officer.
Nelson is responsible for all legal matters for the firm, overseeing outside counsel and providing support and guidance to all in-house departments including leasing, property management, marketing, accounting and construction.
Nelson is a 1984 graduate of Cornell University and a 1987 graduate of Albany Law School. He is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and New York, and had law firm experience prior to joining Levin Management in 1990. He has also been a roundtable and workshop leader at U.S. Shopping Center Law Conferences of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Levin Management currently maintains a growing portfolio of more than 80 diverse retail properties totaling 12.5 million sf. Properties range from downtown stores to lifestyle centers, and from neighborhood and community centers to power centers in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.
