RARITAN TOWNSHIP--Garden Commercial Properties recently celebrated the Grand Opening of one of the most notable anchor tenants at its Raritan Town Square retail and office complex in the Hunterdon County, New Jersey Township of Raritan.
A sprawling new 143,371-sf store Walmart has opened its doors at the 500,000-sf mixed-use commercial center which will consist of retail, restaurants and professional office space, according to the Short Hills-based developer. The discount store will serve alongside Lowe’s Home Improvement as anchor tenants to provide area residents easy access to two of the nation’s most recognizable retailers at Raritan Town Square.
The Walmart opening also signifies the start of phase two at Raritan Town Square which includes the groundbreaking of a 5,000-sf IHOP restaurant scheduled to open in the Spring of 2010, indicates Michael Gartenberg, Director of Leasing for Garden Commercial Properties.
Raritan Town Square also offers private turn-key office suites that are situated above retail.
