HOBOKEN-- Tarragon Corp. and its partner URSA Development Group announced today their newest rental building, 800 Madison, in Hoboken's new Upper Grand neighborhood.
Construction on the six-story building began 10 months ago and is scheduled for completion by fall, with leasing set to begin Aug. 1 out of 1130 Adams Street. The development follows on the heels of Tarragon and URSA's other successful rental community 1000 Jefferson, which is 95 percent leased and 90 percent occupied.
800 Madison marks the sixth residential development built by joint venture Tarragon URSA as part of the Upper Grand neighborhood in the Northwest section of Hoboken. The five include: 1000 Jefferson, 1200 Grand, 1300 Grand, 1100 Adams and 1118 Adams.
When completed, Upper Grand will consist of approximately 1,400 homes, 14,400 sf of retail space and abundant public parks and community recreational facilities. Rents at 800 Madison range from $2,250 for a one-bedroom, to $2,850 for a two-bedroom, and to $5,000 for a three-bedroom residence.
The Upper Grand development project is a joint venture of Tarragon Corp. and URSA Development Group, a privately held organization that has successfully developed and sold hundreds of condominiums in Hoboken.
