FORT LEE--Palisades Financial recently cosponsored two half-day symposiums for real estate leaders, one in Manhattan and the other in Newark.
Prominent broadcaster and journalist Michael Stoler moderated the events with panelists speaking about the current credit crisis and how the rules of financing have changed in the wake of the global financial squeeze.
Financial specialists, real estate professionals and insurance executives learned how and where to find financing, even in turbulent times. In addition to Palisades Principal David McLain, experts from throughout the industry spoke on a variety of topics, including equity loans, mezzanine loans and special real estate financing.
McLain joined Palisades Financial in 2002 and has more than 20 years experience as a commercial real estate professional in the structured finance, acquisition and portfolio management arenas. Throughout his career, McLain has directly participated in transactions valued at well over $1 billion. He is a graduate of Wittenberg College where he earned his bachelor of arts in economics. He received his MBA from Miami University.
