HACKENSACK--Pinnacle Wireless, the two-way radio and wireless communications systems integrator, has leased 80 Commerce Way, a 30,000-sf flex building in Hackensack, announced Prism Capital Partners, the property’s owner.
Pinnacle Wireless will relocate its headquarters to Hackensack from Montclair this summer in an expansion move.
Pinnacle Wireless specializes in large-scale communications projects for transportation, public safety, entertainment, hospitality and enterprise-grade commercial real estate. The company was founded in 2001.
80 Commerce Way is part of a two-building, 73,000-sf campus that also includes 60 Commerce Way. It formerly served as home to Quest Diagnostics. Prism Capital Partners purchased the property in 2005 and completely redeveloped it, investing $1.5 million in a new façade and infrastructure, as well as mechanical and roof upgrades.
According to Edwin Cohen, a principal partner with Prism Capital Partners, the property's excellent location, just north of Riverside Square Mall and adjacent to the upscale Route 4 retail corridor, continues to draw significant interest from potential tenants. The 43,000-sf 60 Commerce Way building is available in its entirety.
Michael Schaible of Jones Lang LaSalle serves as exclusive leasing agent for 60/80 Commerce Way. Richard Van Houten of The Van Houten Group served as broker for Pinnacle Wireless in this transaction.
